3rd Canadian US Homeowners Association Seminar was held on Dec.15, 2012

Canadian US Homeowners Association held the inaugural meeting and seminars at StarWalk Buffet Restaurant on Dec 15, 2012. About 70 attendants participated the meeting.

Florida Realty Investments president Carissa Lawhun and property manager Connie Bolak made a special trip from Orlando to give a presentation for Toronto investors.

The meeting began at 11:30 a.m., with the president of the Canadian US Home Owners Association announcing its establishment, followed by a performance by young singer Jeffrey Ke.

12:00 p.m., Ms. Backy Zhou, Manager of US Corporate Tax at Ernst & Young, explained filing of US tax and things Canadians should be aware of.

Next, manager of Tour East Holidays Mr. Victor Li introduced major travel projects in US and provided travel resources.

After a short break, the president of Florida Realty Investments Carissa Lawhun made a presentation at 1:30 p.m. on topics including why invest in Florida; choices in the Orlando area; loan and property management; and hot properties on sale. Chinese translation was provided.

Since its establishment in June 2012, Orlando (Toronto) Landlord Association has served as a platform for Canadian Orlando homeowners to share their experiences and concerns. In order to reach out to a greater audience, the name of the association was changed to the Canadian US Homeowners Association (CUHA) and was officially registered as a Canadian federal not-for-profit organization.
